Immediate Opening Server - Full-time / Part-time

Roles and Responsibilities

As a WOB Server, you have one of the most valued positions in the Tavern. With this role, you have a great deal of responsibility that requires a sense of urgency. A Server at WOB must be able to multi-task, remember numerous orders, provide a comfortable atmosphere and balance the art of a relaxed atmosphere with the precision of disciplined service times.
You are responsible for maintaining your product knowledge through constant learning and by teaching Customers and other WOB*STARS what is special about our drink and tavern fare. You are also responsible for treating each shift as though it is opening day by ensuring the tavern is fully stocked, clean and taking care of our Customers with opening day enthusiasm.

You are also responsible for ensure the safety of our customer by practicing responsible vending, which includes abiding by all liquor laws, carding all customers who appear to be under 30 years of age, never serving an intoxicated customer and alerting management whenever there are concerns about a customers well-being.

You should always be sharing your passion for craft beer, spirits and tavern fare. You should be able to identify customer preferences and invite them to try a sample of our beers and guide them make pleasing choices from our broad selection of craft beer, craft spirits and tavern fare.

As a WOB Server, you are also the face of WOB outside in the community. You should wear your WOB shirt with pride and always live the WOB WAY. This includes practicing Teamwork, Citizenship and Bringing the Spirit each and every shift you work.
