We have a part-time opening for a Wedding Disc Jockey / DJ / Emcee.

Must be available at least two weekends a month with the ability to work more if desired. You choose availability in advance and assign events based on your availability. Very flexible! 

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Wage: $15.00 to $25.00 per hour

All The Right Tunes (ATRT) is an established entertainment company located in the heart of Miamisburg, OH. Incorporated in 2005 ATRT currently employs 9 DJs and Emcees providing entertainment services to a wide variety of events and venues throughout the entire region of southwest Ohio. ATRT plays recorded music and entertains at hundreds of events per year.

Job Description

All The Right Tunes Professional DJ Services (ATRT) is looking to add multiple Disc Jockeys (DJ) to our intimate workforce as we struggle to keep up with the demand for our entertainment services. As a DJ for ATRT you will be responsible for entertaining at public and private events by playing music and interacting with the audience and/or guests. The current workload is overwhelmingly weddings and this position entails approximately 2 to 4 events per month with an average event lasting 8 to 10 hours and occurring primarily on Saturdays. Weddings are overseen and coordinated by an ATRT Emcee with years of experience and training. DJs are never sent on a wedding alone and are guided on music selections and given event instructions by the Emcee. Preferred applicants will have an established job with weekends off and are looking to earn extra money while doing something rewarding and enjoyable. 

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older and legal resident of the United States
• Have and maintain valid driver’s license to operate motor vehicle in state of OH
• No previous felony convictions and/or misdemeanors of violence
• Ability to learn professional DJ equipment and music manipulation tools
• Enjoy a wide variety of music with the ability to learn music outside your norm

Professional Experience

ATRT prefers applicants have no previous professional DJ experience as our approach to wedding entertainment is extremely unique. Applicants with experience and an open-mind to a innovative entertainment approach are welcome. Active listening, open-minded outlook, and superb communication skills are required to complete on the job training. Loving music is a great bonus but is a small part of what it is to become an ATRT DJ. After employed you will be expected to be familiar with all music genres. 

Training and Equipment

ATRT provides all equipment, transportation, music, and training for the position. You will be required to use all ATRT resources and are not permitted to use any outside support.  Training is provide via an apprenticeship approach and is paid for all mandatory appearances.

Salary and Benefits

DJs are part time and paid an hourly wage. This includes office paperwork, event preparation, travel, setup / teardown, show time. Advancement to Emcee increases top out wage.
