Kitchen Staff - Full-time / Part-time

Cook

Essential Duties:

• Prepared all food served following recipes and special diet needs
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours
• Determine amount and type of food and supplies required
• Ensure proper handling and service of food
• Wash, peel, cut and seed vegetables/fruit and meats are required
• Store food correctly in designated areas
• Wash dishes
• Other items as instructed by management

Additional Requirements:

• Stand, reach, kneel, stoop and climb
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Push, pull and lift items weighing 50 lbs
• Manual dexterity
• Must be able to work flexible hours / days
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Prior restaurant experience a plus

• Excellent communication skills
• Must be familiar with food preparation

• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Reading, writing, auditory and visual skills
