About this job

Job Purpose:
Achieves district revenue and sales goals by planning and coordinating services and operations; developing unit managers; managing staff.

Duties:

  • Accomplishes district human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining unit managers; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures; evaluating human resource actions; transferring and promoting employees within the district; recommending transfers and promotions within the region, and to corporate headquarters; develops management succession plans.
  • Achieves district operational objectives by contributing district information and recommendations to regional and strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing district action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; completing audits; identifying and district trends; determining system improvements; implementing changes in units.
  • Meets district financial objectives by forecasting unit and district requirements; preparing a unit and district annual budgets; monitoring expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Accomplishes revenue goals by identifying sales and revenue opportunities; developing, testing, and implementing new products and services; building business relationships with potential customers; participating in community activities; identifying opportunities for new units; recommends closing unprofitable units.
  • Avoids legal challenges by enforcing regulations; recommending new procedures.
  • Protects brand image by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes mission by completing related results as needed.
