About this job
We are seeking either (i) High School sophomores/juniors/seniors, or (ii) college students with an education major to work as instructor associates at the Kumon Math and Reading center in Guilderland, NY. The individuals must have a high GPA, should be smart and energetic and be very passionate to work with young kids in teaching/instruction. The positions are available immediately.
As the instructor associate, you will assist students as needed, grade their work, provide feedback to the instructor, and are responsible for some administrative duties as well. You must enjoy working with children and be passionate about helping them master the fundamentals of math and reading. We are looking for individuals that are smart, sharp and have strong academic, organizational, communication skills.
This is a part-time position, and must be available and committed to work every Monday and Thursday (4PM to ~ 8PM). Pay depends on qualifications and experience. Full training will be provided.
