We have a full-time opening for a Dispersion Quality Tech.
Must be able to work various shifts per week.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
Wage: 11-13/hr based on experience
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; however, other duties may be assigned.
• Obtain samples of finished product and/or raw materials for assigned testing.
• Sets up, adjusts and operates all pertinent laboratory equipment and instruments such as rheometers, viscometers, balances or digital scales, ovens and furnaces, two roll mill, and spectrophotometers.
• Test material physical properties such as state of cure, percent ash, percent moisture, viscosity, density and other characteristics to verify conformity to specifications.
• Record test results on standard forms.
• Cleans and calibrates laboratory equipment.
• Responsible for keeping work areas clean and orderly.
• Other duties may be assigned from time to time at the discretion of the QCAS Manager.
Education and/or Experience:
HS diploma, some college preferred, or 2-4years previous experience in a chemical laboratory environment. Basic computer skills required.
