Additives Operator

We have a full-time opening for a Additives Operator.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.

Wage: $11

Cleveland manufacturing plant has openings for Additives Operators on 2nd shift. The shift is 6 days per week from 2:45pm to 11:00pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, however, other duties may be assigned:
- Supervise 2-3 subordinates (packagers and bag stampers).
- Responsible for meeting production and quality standards.
- Responsible for accurately completing batch sheets, lot sheets and shift process sheets.
- Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Turns valves or moves controls to activate and maintain system at specified temperatures and machine rates.
- Observes machine operation and monitors mixing, pelletizing, drying and packaging processes and makes recommended specified operating adjustments.
- Adds specified amounts of materials into mixing kettles.
- Responsible for emptying asphalt and partitioning agent fines and recycling back into batches.
- Makes sure the right amount of partitioning agents are added to pellets.
- Makes sure that bag printing is accurate.
- Makes sure product is packaged in the right bags and with the right weight per bag and the right number of bags per pallet.
- Draw samples of products for laboratory analysis and performs on line in process soft point tests on products to insure conformance.
- Performs minor machine maintenance.
- Operate forklift.
- Stretch wrap completed pallets.
- Maintain housekeeping with department.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma (must show proof)
- 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment or demonstrated practical knowledge.
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs. regularly
- Must be able to climb ladders/stairs and work on elevated platforms
