Role Summary:

The Dining Room Attendant serves to provide a personalized customer experience to every guest ensuring our Recipe for Service standard is met. This individual must have a passion for service, excellence and people. The Dining Room attendants report to the Dining Room Team Leader. The Dining Room Attendants will be directly responsible for implementing our Recipe for Service, believing that it should be executed by every member of the restaurant team. Dining Room must be willing to follow the instructions of the Team Leaders and Directors with a sense of urgency and good attitude.  Must also be an expert at the Core 4 and Recipe for Service.

 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

•Must possess the ability to work quickly and efficiently multi-tasking when needed

• Operational excellence delivered all day everyday

• Executes Second Mile Service at all times

• Creates emotional connections with guests

•Suggests our delicious desserts

• Helps to compact or empty trash cans that appear to be overfilled

• Opens doors for guests

• Checks the restroom - if attention is needed, doesn’t hesitate to clean it

• Checks the parking lot for trash

• Checks the Playground and clean as needed (greeting children while in playground)

• Uses the "Mood meter" when approaching tables

• Offer to clear trays in our dining room

• Offer mints and hind wipes to guests as they complete their meal in dining room

• Gathers trays and place in the back of house to be cleaned

• Retrieves Highchairs for small children

• Activates Rainy day gear during inclement weather

• Solicits feedback from guests showing that we care – Were your waffle fries hot?

• Engages customers in conversation as soon as they enter the restaurant

• Enthusiastically and promptly makes eye contact and greets every customer in dining room

• Assists with the customers needs

• Solicits feedback from guests showing that we care – Were  your waffle fries hot?
