They may want to know if you have any experience working in retail already or if they'll have to train you. Be honest about your current skills but emphasize your ability to learn quickly.

"I don't have experience working in retail, but I'm familiar with the skills it requires. Also, I'm a fast learner and will try my best to pick it up quickly."

4) Describe a time where you went above and beyond for someone.

Because providing excellent customer service is one of Old Navy's core values, interviewers will be interested in how you serve other people. Explain a situation where you went above and beyond to meet a customer's needs.

"During a shift at Dunkin Donuts, a customer accidentally dumped her coffee onto the floor. Not only did I clean up the mess, I also gave the woman another coffee and a free doughnut to make sure she walked away happy."

5) How can you benefit our company?

When answering this question, highlight your passion for working hard and meeting goals. Remember that employers sometimes look to hire people who they can eventually promote to higher positions within the company.

"I can benefit Old Navy because I work well with others and always give every task my best shot. Also, I like working toward goals and hope to take advantage of the opportunities that your company offers by serving as a store manager one day."
