"This company seems to push and enable its employees to live outside their comfort zones and reach for bigger goals. I would love to take advantage of this empowering atmosphere and hone my leadership and administration talents by moving up within the company and eventually serving the Burger King family as a general manager."

3) Tell us about one of your weaknesses.

With this question, the interviewers are trying to determine whether you are self-aware, humble and willing to grow. Also, they'll want to be aware of any red flag behaviors that candidates might mention.

"One of my weaknesses is that I'm a perfectionist. This causes me to care too much about details and occasionally waste time making sure that something is just right, which can make me stressed. However, I'm aware of this issue and am trying to grow in being less of a perfectionist."

4) How would you handle a customer that’s upset in regards of their order?

Fast-food workers and people who work in the food industry in general have to handle a good number of upset customers. Employers will want to know how you react in difficult situations and whether you consistently provide exceptional customer service.

"First, I would sincerely listen to their complaint and affirm them that I understand the situation. Then I would apologize to the customer regarding their order. Next, I would do my best to resolve or compensate the issue so that they walk away happy and with their expectations met. If my solution didn't satisfy the customer, I would seek help from management."

5) What do you know about our company?

Use this question as an opportunity to show off the research you've done on Burger King. Interviewers will want to see that you are familiar with the company's history, values and products and that you are willing to learn more.

"Based on the research I've done, I know that Burger King was founded in 1954, is the home of the Whopper and serves roughly 11 million customers around the world. Also, I learned that you value high-performing teams of ambitious people. In terms of your products, you serve high-quality, great-tasting and affordable food."
