Special Education Teacher - Winterville, NC

ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Winterville, NC. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. This is a contracted position with ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of school staffing and therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support in various academic subjects.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with other members of the education team, including paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrators.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
  • Valid Special Education teaching license in the state
  • Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:
