This is a full time position located at the Chattaroy center of MLIH in Mingo County, WV.
POSITION PURPOSE:
This position is essential in order to properly maintain the facilities and grounds in order to provide a pleasant environment in which to serve the consumers. The employee should possess the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making pertaining to his/her job.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Consult with immediate supervisor to discuss tasks that need to be done then complete tasks.
- Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies, and report to the immediate supervisor a list of those items needed at least a week before running out.
- Make daily checks of lights, water faucets, etc.
- Keep trash in proper containers and empty daily. Be able to meet all health and sanitation requirements on spot inspection.
- Vacuum carpet, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, clean bathrooms, and clean windows and glass doors, etc. daily, weekly, or as needed.
- Make repair recommendations to immediate supervisor.
- Be available for emergency work if an issue arises.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent or extensive experience in the field. This position requires the employee to be trained in CPI yearly.
