WellStone is North Alabama’s most comprehensive behavioral healthcare provider serving over 13,000 persons a year in Huntsville and Cullman. We are a non-profit community organization that offers a wide range of services for every phase of life, from children to older adults.

We are hiring for a Customer Service Representative

When you will be working : M-F ,1st shift

What we're looking for -

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Computer
  • Customer service experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Perform receptionist duties, acknowledging and assisting clients, visitors, vendors, etc.
  • Perform data entry functions into computer
  • Answer telephone in timely manner
  • Verify appointments, reschedule appointments, make appointments
  • Take messages for staff, or route calls to voice mail
  • Answer questions, verify client demographic information in computer
  • Accept co-payments, key into computer, print receipts
  • Balance monetary amounts taken daily and submit to Accounting
  • Conduct reminder calls for the next day appointments
  • Scan documents into computer, fax requested information
  • Inform therapist the client is present, reschedule, schedule and confirm appointments
  • Provide excuses to clients who request appointment verification
  • Attend and complete required training
  • Attend staff meetings
