To excel as a Resource Specialist at MNRAAA, you will need a diverse skill set that includes a bachelor's degree in a human services-related field (e.g., social work, nursing, public administration, gerontology) and at least one year of professional experience working with older adults, caregivers, and service providers. Your expertise in public assistance programs, long-term care planning, and community resources will be essential in providing valuable support to our clients. Additionally, qualities such as self-motivation, initiative, dependability, flexibility, attention to detail, and sound judgment will help you navigate complex situations with ease. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication techniques, both over the phone and in person, will be key in building relationships and conducting person-centered assistance.
