Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and preparing exam rooms, knowledge of medication, pre-op and post op steps, providing surgical assistance, medication controllists, and documenting accurately and timely information regarding patient conditions
• Direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses
• Collaborates with surgeons, surgical technologists, and other members of the surgical teams for procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, GI, etc.
• Assists in development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of care and nursing professional practice in collaboration with members of the health care team and in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory agency requirements
