Quality Control Technician I

Job Description Grace Tyrone is looking for a full time Quality Control Technician. This position is located in Tyrone PA and is a full time/rotating shift position. The position will be responsible for Sets up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, research, and/or process control. Responsibilities Prepares chemical solutions for use in processing materials. Physical Requirements and Environment Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a laboratory environment with highly hazardous materials Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a pilot plant facility with highly hazardous materials Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings. Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator Required Qualifications BS in chemistry/related field or degree in chemical technology from a technical institute. Preferred Qualifications 2 years of experience in analytical laboratory.
