Maintenance Tech - 061 Richmond, VA, USA Req #264 Wednesday, April 3, 2024 U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management/infrastructure service organization, is seeking a Part-Time, permanent Maintenance Technician for 21 hours a week. Hours are Monday - Thursday, 4:30am until 8:30am; alternating, Fridays 4:30am - 8:30am and Sundays, 6:30am - 11:30 am. Job is to open the building (located in Richmond, VA) and to ensure everything is functioning properly before building opens to the public. Promptness is required and mandatory. Must have transportation. Responsibilities Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs Making sure HVAC equipment is in working order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries Knowledge and Experience Basic Commercial building maintenance experience, Equipment Maintenance, Technical Understanding, Technical trouble shooting, Deals with Uncertainty, Basic Safety, Power Tools, Attention to Detail, Flexibility, Job Knowledge, Productivity May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices. REQUIREMENTS: Education/Training High School Diploma or GED equivalent, basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical repair work. Licenses, Certifications, Requirements · Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check. · Possession of a valid driver's license is a requirement for this job Working Conditions -Not rigorous work, mostly making rounds before the building is open to the public to ensure that everything is safe and in working order.
