Accountant

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accountant in Weatherford, Texas. This role is integral to our financial operations, requiring a focus on full-cycle accounting functions in a bustling workplace. You will be collaborating with various clients and partners, contributing to a culture of professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing a range of full-cycle accounting functions, including cash management, financial reporting, and bank reconciliations
• Handling payroll duties, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
• Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, maintaining organized records
• Conducting bookkeeping tasks to support financial operations
• Preparing and submitting reports to federal, state, and local agencies in compliance with regulations
• Using accounting software systems and ERP solutions to streamline accounting functions
• Leveraging QuickBooks and Sage Intacct to manage and analyze financial data
• Applying skills in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to maintain financial accuracy
• Conducting audits as necessary to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
• Utilizing strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address financial challenges and improve processes.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Understanding of Auditing principles and procedures
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
• Previous experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct software
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
