GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate with NATSC Configuration management personnel to review all hard copy documentation for NATSC operations, IAW NATSC Document & Data Control Policy and Procedures to ensure the latest revision level is used for all Work-In-Process (WIP).
  • Compile, review, and update product repair and manufacturing files for all products throughout all work-in process stages. This includes: all travelers, work instructions, test instructions and test results, inspection records, deviations, and any other document required to repair and manufacture all NATSC products.
  • Produce Bill of Materials (BOMs)/logistic packages including review work packages for latest document revision Level and properly marked/approved for-use (travelers, technical work instructions, repair instructions, test instructions, or any other technical documentation required to perform authorized repair/overhaul of Towed Array assets).
  • Process and submit Trouble Reports, Deviation Requests as needed in accordance with NATSC procedures.
  • Review and comment on PECP/ECP packages to determine what impacts, if any, these packages will have on repair times, production throughput, product quality.
  • For Towed Array assets designated for repair/upgrade, use the NATSC Towed Array Management System (TAMS) to identify any applicable outstanding ECP(s) that requires incorporation.
  • Use the NATSC NUWC Trouble Report system for resolution of problems for daily floor activities, documentation errors, or technical problems in accordance with NATSC procedures


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or science.
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience in the operation, maintenance, installation, test and/or repair of submarine electrical, electro-mechanical, and or electronic systems/equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience with reviewing/updating procedures, specifications, technical manuals Experience working in an ISO 9001QA environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office software Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Experience developing PECP/ECP Impact Analysis Reports for PECP/ECP development per the PEO-SUB PMS4011/4013-CCM-001configuration control manual (CCM).
  • Experience supporting Failure Mode Analysis (FMA).
  • Experience using NUWCDIVNPT /NATSC Depot Application (NDA).
