Job Title: Outdoor Material Handler
Location: Owosso, Michigan
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $18 an hour
We are currently seeking a dedicated Outdoor Material Handler to join our team in Owosso, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse setting, demonstrating proficiency in loading and unloading trucks while providing exceptional customer service. As a Outdoor Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring efficient handling of deliveries and maintaining a safe work environment. If this sounds like you, apply now!
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload deliveries using forklift or physical labor, adhering to safety protocols and proper lifting techniques.
- Conduct cycle counts and rotate product to ensure inventory accuracy and freshness.
- Maximize payloads and inspect finished goods to meet quality standards.
- Promote excellent customer service by assisting with order confirmations and addressing customer inquiries.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and records related to shipments and inventory.
- Manage Central Processing Units (CPUs) and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) efficiently.
- Adapt to outdoor working conditions in Michigan, including exposure to varying weather elements.
- Utilize provided gear for cold weather conditions, ensuring personal comfort and safety.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of solid experience in a warehouse or shipping and receiving role.
- Previous forklift experience and certification preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
