Staff Accountant

Osmundson Mfg. Co. is seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a growing company, we understand the importance of maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the company.

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including but not limited to:

• Recording financial transactions accurately and timely.
• Preparing financial statements and reports.
• Reconciling bank statements and accounts.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Performing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
• Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring.
• Analyzing financial data and providing insights to management.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Supporting audits and tax filings.
• Collaborating with other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
• At least 3+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Experience with accounting software packages.
• Advanced in MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
