Job: EDI Analyst Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Varying degrees of involvement in business requirement and documentation gathering, data analysis, and multi-project management. Engage in healthcare EDI transactions with increasing complexity from Analyst I to IV, including batch and real-time formats such as 837I/837P, 274, 834, 835, and 270/271. Additionally, EDI develops and manages HL7, JSON, XML, NCPDP, and custom Delimited Flat Files. Independently work under the direction of a Project Manager or a senior EDI Analyst to identify and document business and processing conflicts. Develop, test, and deploy analytics mapping and solutions across healthcare systems. Understand and apply SDLC and Agile Scrum methodologies to all stages of project development. Use SQL and other database technologies for data mining and business reporting. Maintain and manage structured query language techniques for advanced data mining and business reporting as expertise grows from Analyst I to IV. Additional Responsibilities: Actively participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve complex problems, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency. Analyze and reconcile data from multiple sources to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity across systems. Facilitate the development and implementation of company-wide policies and procedures related to EDI standards and practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes using technology and innovative practices. Skills and Abilities: Require excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, and proficiency in various EDI and database management tools. Higher-Level Analysts: Leadership skills, advanced problem-solving, strong technical project management, and the ability to mentor others are emphasized. Proficiency in ANSI formats, SDLC, Agile methodologies, SQL, and software productivity tools are common requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Productivity Tools: All roles demand a strong capability in utilizing Microsoft 365 productivity tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Power Automate, and Azure DevOps Services (ADOS), to enhance workplace productivity and streamline processes
