Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for quality by ensuring the optimal performance of Sepro Products through installation, start-up, repair, and modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Startup & Installation:

  • Ensure safety measures for individual and work area.
  • Guide customers through equipment unpacking.
  • Validate installation, including mechanics and cable positioning.
  • Test and validate robot functionality, including interface with presses and peripherals.
  • Program and initiate robot production operations.

Repair & Service:

  • Utilize diagnostic methods to identify and resolve breakdowns.
  • Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

Customer Training & Support:

  • Provide comprehensive on-site training (operation, programming, maintenance).
  • Offer telephone assistance through the Sepro Hot Line.

Documentation:

  • Prepare detailed service reports and document product modifications.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least two years in service, with experience in Automation (Robotics), PLC programming, and interfaces.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, assembly drawings, and wiring schematics.
  • Familiarity with all field equipment, basic hand and power tools, and diagnostic instruments.

Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service, both internal and external.
  • Independent with strong organizational skills.
  • Flexible and responsive to meet customer needs in line with Sepro's values.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regular requirement to stand, sit; talk, hear, and operate a computer and telephone.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, lift heavy equipment, and frequent bending.
