We have an immediate need for a strong and ambitious attorney with 0-2 years of experience in our Maitland office to handle first party property, general liability and long term care cases. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials with proven skills in writing, analysis and research, and outstanding skills in negotiation and client interaction.
Associate attorneys will be responsible for handling their own caseload, managing deadlines, interacting with clients and outside attorneys, and will gain litigation and courtroom experience. Daily responsibilities include performing legal analysis on new and existing claims, developing case strategy, responding to and propounding discovery, drafting of motions, taking depositions, attending hearings, attending mediations, negotiating settlements, and assisting with trials.
