Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Arvada, Colorado. This role focuses on the financial operations of a construction company, with a primary focus on accounts receivable, billing, job costing, and inventory management. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage contract billing and job costing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee inventory management, maintaining records and ensuring availability of materials.
• Generate weekly AR aging reports, providing critical insights into account statuses.
• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites for efficient data management and reporting.
• Operate Great Plains (GPAC) and IBM AS/400 systems for specific accounting functions.
• Handle accounts receivable processes, including billing functions and cash activity.
• Manage check processing, ensuring all payments are accurate and timely.
• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.
• Perform various accounting functions as needed to support the financial health of the company.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary
• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) is required
• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 is a must
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is required
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary
• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must
• Familiarity with Billing Functions is required
• Experience in handling Cash Activity is necessary
• Proficiency in Check Processing is required
