  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering/quality control.
  • Experience working in the Automotive industry.
  • Experience in sheet metal manufacturing/sheet metal stamping.
  • Manufacturing Engineering VA/VE.
  • Experience working directly with customers/clients.
  • APQP, PPAP
  • Training/Guidance involvement with level A & B Engineers.
  • Experience with launch methodology processes.
  • R&D experience.
  • Experience with Quotes, Develop Process, Timing, Quality, & Capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads a team consisting of Quality Facilitators, QA auditors, and customer liaisons.
  • Supports production personnel by helping to resolve process problems
  • Leads, and supports root cause investigation (8D’s) of non-conformances and maintains the corrective action system
  • Communicate customer complaints/concerns to the team
  • Audit and track supplier quality performance
  • Understands and knows the customer's systems (GM, Stellantis, Ford)
  • Completes job performance on each individual on time and accurately
  • Works with the IATF team to support internal and external audits
  • Monitors and track internal deviations
  • Performs weekly LPA (Layered process audits)
  • Continually monitors and develops processes that improve quality
  • Supports the Executive Manager of Quality
  • Supports Quality Liaisons at plant meeting
