Purchasing Clerk

Do you have at least two years of purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment and are ready for a fresh start? Staffmark is hiring an experienced Purchasing Clerk for our client located in Greer, SC. We have partnered with a leader in mobility that will help you take control of your career. You will be responsible for supporting the operations, bringing value through the admin processes, and contributing to the plant performance through managing admin processes for products and services. Pay: $28 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday-Friday

Essential Functions:

• Identifies root causes of invoice discrepancies and implements solutions to avoid future errors
• Manages the supply base portal updating supplier documents and banking information
• Supports cash flow with monthly review of accruals
• Establishes positive relationships with suppliers while troubleshooting invoice issues and providing solutions
• Handles daily purchase request approvals and produces purchase orders

Requirements:

• 2+ years of related work experience
• Organized with strong customer service, computer/Excel, and communication skills
• Some SAP experience
• Ability to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds
