The Sr. Associate Quality Control Chemist (Data Review) at MilliporeSigma's Sheboygan Falls, WI site is responsible for reviewing stock suitability data in accordance with guidelines of the quality management system. Additional daily tasks include the following: Perform routine secondary analytical data reviewEvaluate stock suitabilityProduce controlled documentation such as Certificate of Analysis and product specificationsInterpret scientific data such as titration, spectroscopy and chromatographyCompare analytical data against established data library(s) and product specification(s) Maintain complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines Perform standard stoichiometry and unit conversions Safely handle, process, route and request samples Train new hires on relevant SOPs and operations in assigned work area(s), as defined Perform intermediate analytical problem solving Submit chemical sample requests for investigation and stock inspection Process change requests through the change management system Work with master data team to resolve system(s) and product issues Maintain and support general quality review functionsWrite and submit quality deviation record(s) for management review Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, chemical engineering or other life science discipline OR1+ year of secondary education and 1+ year of laboratory or quality review experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree Preferred Qualifications: Basic understanding of Data Integrity and Good DocumentationKnowledge in chemistry, math, and general scienceAbility to function in a team environmentExcellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and writtenBasic understanding of analytical tools and equipmentKnowledge of safe chemical handling practicesCompute chemical calculations and conversionsAdaptable, self-motivated, critical thinkerOrganization and time management skillsDatabase software management skillsDetail oriented and skilled in making independent decisionsMicrosoft Office, Power Point, Excel, and Word experience
