Open Lifeguard positions at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta

The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (The MJCCA), a Top 100 Workplace in Metro Atlanta, is looking for responsible individuals who are currently American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First-Aid certified.

• Flexible hours: hours vary from 5-25 or more hours per week

• Opportunity for full-time and seasonal work

• Competitive Pay - starting at $15 per hour based on experience

• American Red Cross certification classes available

• MJCCA is centrally located in Metro Atlanta

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First-Aid certification

• Must be responsible, timely and personable

• Previous experience preferred, but not required

• Wide range of availability preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor patrons and activity in pool and pool area

• Follow emergency action plan and procedures

• Determine chlorine content and pH value of water, using water testing kit, and record readings

• Responsible for Opening and Closing Procedures

• Assist with pool cleaning

• Provide general information of pool schedule, events, and programs to members and guests

• Attend staff trainings

We will reimburse the cost of the ARC Lifeguard Course after individuals have worked 50 hours.
