Interim Pharmacist

This hospital is a 20+ bed critical access hospital. This hospital is accredited by TJC. It is part of a nonprofit healthcare system that includes acute care, home care, and hospice. This health system has received the Mayor's Well Done Award.

Responsibilities

• Monitors drug therapies, identifies and troubleshoots potential medication safety hazards and documents all interactions for medical review
• Manages lower-level technicians
• Participates in department cost savings
• Assists in making recommendations on process improvement or development of new pharmacy services

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of pharmacy
• Bachelor's degree, preferred
• 1 year technical experience preferred
• Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Pharmacist license in state required
• RPH required
