Preferred Skills/Knowledge: The ability to connect families with resources, facilitate team meetings, and work with early childhood programs to prevent expulsions and suspensions.

MAIN FUNCTION: To coordinate a comprehensive strength-based approach to providing support for licensed childcare programs to ensure that children at risk of being suspended or expelled are able to remain in their program. The RRT Coordinator will work with the ELRC 3 Quality Coaches and team to respond quickly to requests from early learning programs and families in the following counties: Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Indiana, and Lawrence.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

• Provide short-term support to the ECE workforce and families through relationship building.

• Create individualized plans for efficient warm handoffs to other supports services.

• Ensure that the team responds within 48 hours after a referral is received.

• Facilitate the development of a case based collaborative plan of action.

• Connect providers and families to additional community supports.

• Work directly with the childcare director, owner, teaching staff, service. providers, and quality coach to assess and develop strategies to support the child and family.

• Collaborate with key community organizations and programs that can support the mission of the RRT such as early intervention and mental/behavioral health.

• Facilitate the RRT program in conjunction with the program supervisor and other key staff of Early Learning Connections.

• Collect, organize, and report data.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Experience with coordination of services for early childhood education programs. Will consider related experience.

• A Baccalaureate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred. Associate degree accepted.

• Willing to achieve PQAS certification and to take part in continuing education/professional development.

• Current Pennsylvania Driver's License required and must have access to transportation daily.
