Full Job Description

We are in search of a reliable customer service focused individual to manage gatehouse operations for an upscale residential community. The gatehouse attendant will be responsible for controlling access to the community, in a professional manner while greeting and directing incoming members and guests.

The ideal candidate provides exceptional customer service while spreading goodwill and hospitality with members, guests, and fellow employees. The gatehouse operates seven days a week, we are looking for a reliable employee for 8–10-hour shifts. The hours of this position are decreased during the winter/colder months and increased during the busy summer season.

This role is great for students, second job seekers, or semi-retired individuals.

Duties

Customer service liaison to members and guests.

Provide informed up to date information regarding parking and gate access operations.

Control traffic, ensuring safety and order at the gatehouse.

Process and issue passes for visitors, guests, renters, vendors, and construction crews.

Complete daily activity logs and incident reports when concerns arise.

Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.

Maintain awareness and familiarity with the site-specific operations and post orders.

Maintain a neat and efficient work area.

Know emergency procedures and follow instruction in emergency situations. Take responsibility for his/her own safety and report unsafe conditions.

Follow new procedures as required and other related duties as assigned.

Assist and support all other staff in the performance of their job duties for the betterment of the community.

Present a courteous, collaborative disposition and practice excellent communication with all co-workers.

Requirements

Reliable transportation to get to work site (including during winter/snow conditions).

Ability to safely lift up to 20 pounds.

Stand/walk for up to 2 hours at a time, sit for up to 2 hours at a time.

Ability to twist, kneel, and bend repeatedly while moving inventory or assisting members.

No Visible Tattoos while wearing a long or short sleeve shirt.

Must be at least 21 years' old for vehicle insurance purposes.
