Premier Service of Carolina, Inc. is a non-hospital inpatient Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) providing services for children and adolescents ages 7-17 who have mental health needs and developmental disabilities.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team! As a Program Coordinator, you will work closely with numerous different departments to assess training and program needs, and then find appropriate program options to fill those needs. You will also attend various meetings to gain a better understanding of the company goals, assist management with implementing new programs, and ensure all company programs are in line with our mission and goals. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a similar coordinator role, has excellent communication skills, and can multitask and switch priorities, as needed.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Work closely with many departments, building relationships and learning the needs of each department
  • Determine the best programs for each department based on their unique needs
  • Assist management in implementing programs effectively
  • Attend and lead various department meetings to gain a deeper understanding
  • Manage administrative and programmatic aspects of the program, including budgeting, reporting, chart reviews, and liaison with Managed Care Organizations
  • Demonstrates a broad knowledge of licensure and ensures site compliance
  • Promote company and programs within the community
  • Develops, implements, and monitors resident programs
  • Coordinates activities relative to residents' treatment goals
  • Administers Crisis Intervention Techniques in emergencies
Qualifications and Education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
  • The ability to work well independently and within a team
Must possess one of the following
Bachelor's Degree in human services or a closely related field with 1 year of experience
Associate Degree in human services or a closely related field with 2 years of experience
