A well-established wholesale distributor of animal feeds, fertilizers, agricultural chemicals, and other farm supplies is currently in search of a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team! The Maintenance Mechanic would be responsible for repairs and performing general maintenance on equipment used during the operation of treating and discharging treated water from their chemical treatment plant.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversees all aspects of treating and discharging double lime water treatment process within the chemical treatment facility
- Assists Lead Water Technician with requested aspects of plant operation
- Assures that field seepage, leachate and storm water pumps are kept running and in good condition
- Inspects the gypsum stack system (will provide training)
- Monitors work area for any safety or environmental concerns, and reports any findings to the Lead Water Treatment Technician for resolution
- Reports any issues or concerns with slaking units or truck unloading stations to Lead Water Treatment Technician
- Documents daily activities or any problems in a logbook so that the following shifts and other personnel are made aware
Who We're Looking For
- Must have a valid Florida driver’s license
- Must have 4+ years of industrial experience with at least 2+ years of mechanical experience
- Experience with welding a plus
- Required to have previous experience working on large pumps
What You Can Expect
- $28.00/hour, starting pay
- Shift Schedule - 6am - 6pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
