Our client is seeking a Personal Banker to help customers manage their financial needs by performing accurate banking transactions, working the teller line, and opening and closing accounts. Responsibilities:
- Accurately opens and closes accounts in accordance with operating controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer assets
- Assist customers with loan requests and processes, which includes taking an application, collecting the required documentation for the loan, discussing the request with an approver, and closing the deal
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the new accounts system database to manage and maintain customer account information
- Perform duties for entry/exit for safe deposit box customers and opens & closes safe deposit boxes by following safe deposit box policies & procedures
- Assist customers with telephone inquiries to provide solutions to their banking needs
- Assist customers with routine account-related requests; research and resolve account service inquiries/issues; and respond to client inquiries promptly, effectively, and professionally
- Perform teller responsibilities in accordance with the Teller job description
- Utilize excellent customer service to build relationships by actively recommending new and existing products and services to current and potential customers
- Assist with efforts to identify and implement a positive overall customer experience
- Contribute towards fostering teamwork within the department
- Assist in Compliance Review and Bank Secrecy Act
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer-facing support role - prior teller or banking experience a plus but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Math aptitude
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and attention to detail is critical
Work Model:
- On-Site
- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- One Saturday/month 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
