Physician / Missouri / Locum or Permanent / Cardiac Surgery PA - 1st Assist opening in Hannibal, MO Job

Seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant to join Cardiac Surgery team in Hannibal, MO. 1st assist experience a plus.

• Sunrise Allscripts EMR, with Dragon Capabilities
• Employment Model includes Robust benefits package: medical/dental, malpractice, retirement, student loan repayment, CME w/ $3,000 CME Allowance
• Graduate of an accredited post graduate Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education (ARC-PA) required
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required and maintains certification
• Current and unrestricted State of Missouri licensure, DEA, BNDD, and NPI registrations
• One year minimum experience as a Physician Assistant in Family Medicine required
• Demonstrates clinical competence and ethical practice
• Demonstrates ability to function within an employed clinical environment
• Demonstrates ability to function collaboratively with primary care physicians
• Maintains ACLS and BLS certification
