Basic requirements:

Knowledge and ability to provide build and position cradles, hull blocks, and bilge blocks in relationship to centerline and frame lines so that the weight of a submarine will be evenly distributed and supported. Will also be responsible for establishing reference points above the water level for alignment of submarines over the blocks as it enters the dry dock. Additional duties include construction of scaffolding, various types of woodworking, installation and removal of hull insulation, Formica, other plastic laminates, and sound damping materials. Ability to use tools and equipment associated with all the duties listed..

Starting salaries are commensurate with education and experience, plus full benefits. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Males born after December 31, 1959 are required to be registered with the Selective Service System. All positions are subject to satisfactory completion of a security investigation, successful completion of a pre-employment physical, and/or drug test.
