Job Description
Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing provider, is currently seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team for a full-time, onsite position at a school district in Tuskegee, AL. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional behavior analysis services to students and collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
- Implement evidence-based behavioral strategies and interventions to address individual student needs
- Provide behavior support and consultation to teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and modify intervention plans as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement positive behavior support plans at the classroom and school-wide levels
- Provide training and professional development to teachers and staff on behavior management techniques and strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
- Previous experience working as a BCBA in a school or educational setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of behavior assessment and intervention strategies
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with diverse needs
