Job Title: Telemarketer

Job Overview:
As a Telemarketer, your primary responsibility will be to engage potential customers over the phone with the aim of promoting and selling products or services. You will utilize effective communication skills to present offerings persuasively, handle objections, and ultimately secure sales or appointments for the sales team. The role requires resilience, persistence, and a results-oriented mindset to meet or exceed sales targets.

Location: Alpharetta, GA
Hours:9am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Outbound Calls: Initiate outbound calls to prospective customers using prepared scripts to introduce products or services.
  2. Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products or services offered to effectively communicate their features, advantages, and benefits to potential customers.
  3. Customer Engagement: Engage prospects in meaningful conversations, build rapport, and identify their needs or interests.
  4. Sales Pitch: Present products or services persuasively, highlighting their value proposition and addressing any objections or concerns raised by prospects.
  5. Lead Generation: Generate leads and qualify prospects through effective questioning and active listening.
  6. Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments for sales representatives or direct qualified leads to appropriate sales channels.
  7. Follow-up: Conduct follow-up calls to nurture leads, answer questions, and facilitate the sales process.
  8. Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, customer details, and sales activities in the CRM system.
  9. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the organization.
  10. Compliance: Adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies regarding telemarketing practices, including Do Not Call (DNC) lists and data protection regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in telemarketing, sales, or customer service roles preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits convincingly.
  • Persuasive and negotiation skills to overcome objections and close sales.
  • Resilience and perseverance to handle rejection and maintain motivation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and managing follow-up activities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in sales or marketing is a plus.
Working Conditions:
