As an X-ray tech, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures with a high level of technical competency. Your role will require a solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology, allowing you to apply ionizing radiation for accurate radiologic diagnoses. Responsibilities: 

  • Perform diagnostic portable imaging for patients in their homes, home care settings, or client facilities. 
  • Perform X-ray examinations on patients, following established protocols and safety procedures. 
  • Ensure patient comfort and cooperation throughout the imaging process. 
  • Position patients correctly and accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images. 
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring its proper functionality. 
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information. 

Requirements: 

  • Valid certification as an X-ray technologist/ X-RAY Tech 
  • Proficiency in performing X-ray procedures with accuracy and efficiency 
  • Proficient in reading imaging in an EMR system.
  • Solid understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • BLS Certification (Preferred) 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety 
  • Valid driver’s license 

License/Certification: 

  • ARRT Certification (Required)
