• Communicating effectively with clients and team members
• Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
• Understanding prospects needs and identifying sales opportunities
• Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
• Staying informed about competing products and services
• Having a ton of fun while being part of a competitive team
• Clerical duties such as answering and screening phone calls, client database input, filing, taking payments, and other tasks as assigned

• Customer service experience required
• Insurance experience is preferred, but not required
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
• Must be coachable and willing to commit
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
• Must have strong interpersonal skills
• Must be motivated and determined

Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

No necessary experience required although previous experience in sales or in insurance is preferred

Language:

Fluent in English required. Spanish speaking is a plus however.

License/Certification:

Property & Casualty License preferred but not requiredMUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN after hire.

Life and Health License preferred but not required

Work Location:

Scotts Valley Farmers Office (NOT REMOTE)

Is this a remote opportunity?

No. We have agencies located throughout Santa Cruz County looking for amazing talent to work On-Site in a professional office environment.

Is prior insurance experience required?

No! You dont need to know anything about insurance or insurance sales to apply. We provide all of the product and sales training that youll need to be successful!

Do I need to have an insurance licensed to work for you?

Although we would preferred a licensed candidate, this is not a requirement for hire. However, we expect the candidate to obtain P&C licensing (paid for by the agency) within 90-120 days of hire.
