A critical access hospital that has been serving the community for over 70 years is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their Administrative Team! Healthcare Experience Required!
Base Salary: $142,000-$189,000

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Responsibilities:
- Will oversee the financial operations of the hospital. The CFO may be required to travel to outlying clinics 2-3 times a year for special events. A hospital vehicle may be provided, or mileage will be reimbursed
- Directs the facility’s financial planning and maintenance of accounting, financial and statistical records to ensure accountability of financial resources
- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is accountable for establishing productive working relationships with the medical staff and ancillary departments and being responsive to community needs
- The CFO demonstrates behaviors consistent with organizational mission, vision, customer service standards, and strategic goals
- The CFO participates with leaders from the governing body, administration, medical staff and team managers in planning and conducting facility-wide performance improvement initiatives.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Master’s Degree in Business preferred
- One to three years of Healthcare Experience
- Three to five years of prior work experience
- One to three years of supervisory experience
- One to three years of experience with Accountable Care Organization (ACO), or at risk contracting preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) currently licensed in Iowa preferred
