Company Summary
Dianne’s Fine Desserts has been serving up inspiring, mouth-watering, and memorable desserts for over 40 years. This company is a leading provider of premium frozen thaw-and-serve desserts to the food service and in-store retail industries. Their product line includes cheesecakes, layer cakes, pies and tarts, brownies/bars, and individual minis and specialty desserts.

What a Maintenance Technician will do:

• Inspect and assemble clean equipment
• Perform emergency and routine repairs as part of preventative maintenance and as needed
• Complete PM’s assigned to respective value stream and all related maintenance reports
• Train value stream co-workers to set up and do minor troubleshooting of value stream equipment
• Wear personal protective equipment appropriate to the job functions
• Document and maintain records and audits pertinent to the maintenance department
• Support Value Stream staff as needed in taking part and assembling equipment
• Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 year audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary work area at all times

What you need to be a Maintenance Technician:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5+ years of experience working in production and management in a manufacturing environment
• Good computer skills including Excel, Word, and MS Office
• Basic knowledge of CI tools and lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to become familiar with OSHA regulations (i.e., Hazard Communications, Lock Out-Tag-Out, etc.)
• Excellent upper and lower body strength
• Ability to do overhead lifting of 20-50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
• Normal to excellent manual dexterity and motor skills
• Good eye-hand coordination
