About who needs care: She has dementia. I am looking for a person with an understanding of dementia to be a cheerful companion and initiate activities for brain stimulation and general happy companionship. She is currently in a nursing facility with her husband and needs some specialized one-on-one time.
She loves crafts or painting, playing games, and happy conversation. Bringing or planning activities to do with her would be important.
About the care needs: Must know how to work with a person with dementia. Be creative with games or activities to plan with the person. Being friendly and open to making a connection with an elderly woman.
Services needed include: companionship.
