TruckPro is seeking a Trailer - Driveline Technician who is committed to repairing light duty trailers (various models) to specific customer and industry-standard specifications. This role will also perform driveline repairs.

Trailer - Driveline Technician Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical systems (lighting, electric brakes)
- Replace axles, electric and hydraulic brake assemblies, and trailer fenders
- Repair trailer suspension (welding hanger brackets, replacing leaf springs)
- Repair or replace trailer couplers and jacks
- Perform basic welding functions
- Assemble and disassemble drivelines; wash parts and inspect parts, discarding damaged parts
- Take micrometer measurement of flywheels; regrind flywheel to specifications
- Reassemble, time and balance as needed
- Tag and place units in inventory for customer pick-up
- Inform customer/manager of completion times, services expenses, and possible changes
- Submit work orders for invoicing
- Maintain inventory and supplies
- Prepare list of required replacement parts
- Clean work area as required and maintain equipment
- Adhere to all environmental, health and safety standards
Successful Trailer-Driveline Technician Will Have:
- Minimum 1 year technician experience with light-duty trailer repairs preferred, not required
- Basic tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities (TruckPro offers a tool purchase reimbursement program)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
