Practice Management Presenter, Key Accounts Annuity & Hybrid Team, MMSD

Opportunity

The MMSD Advisor Practice Management Consultant is responsible for the creation and delivery of CE programs, financial planning software education and practice management thought leadership to financial professionals. This is a new role for MMSD, great opportunity to shape our value-add program. 

The Team

The MMSD Annuity team is responsible for the expansion of annuity solutions in the third-party marketplace. The team is responsible for all aspects of running the MMSD business, New Business Development, Industry Strategy, Key Account Management, Wholesaling Oversight, New Business Oversight, Marketing and Compliance Oversight.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Own the CE program for MMSD annuity through all facets of development, deployment, planning, presenting, follow through and key metrics for success.

  • Manage CE vendor partners.

  • Partner with key account management team, national sales manager, and external wholesalers in the planning, preparation, and execution of virtual and in-person CE events.

  • Present CE content on behalf of MMSD and wholesalers for virtual and in-person events.

  • Create. manage and track leads for external and internal wholesalers from the CE program.

  • Develop and track metrics showing the value of the CE program.

  • Understand financial planning tools to uncover and integrate annuities into planning process.

  • Develop and deliver training on industry financial planning tools i.e., E-Monday, Money Guide Pro

  • Train financial advisors on financial planning tools at both virtual and in-person forums.

  • Build strategy for value-add practice management content.

  • Deliver value add content for wholesaler usage.

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma with 5+ years of equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience working in Investment financial services industry.

  • Series 6 or 7 required at time of application.

  • 2+ years’ experience working with annuities.

  • 3+ years’ experience owning CE program including presenting, creating CE curriculum to financial advisors, wholesalers, field partners, etc

  • 1+ year of experience with 3rd party distribution

  • Travel required, estimated 50%+

Ideal Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience owning CE program including presenting, creating CE curriculum to financial advisors, wholesalers, field partners, etc

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, with a focus on PowerPoint Strong organizational, detail orientation and understanding of teaching methodologies/best practices

  • 3+ years of experience with 3rd party distribution

  • 7+ years’ experience working in Investment financial services industry.
