Job Description
Summary: Seeking a Mid to Sr Electrical Engineer with expertise in dc low voltage linear and buck boost circuit design for automotive or consumer electronics.
Requirements:
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
Proficiency in designing dc low voltage linear and buck boost circuits.
Experience in Automotive or Consumer Electronics environments.
LED lighting experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of NPD/NPI, risk assessments, safety standards compliance.
Ability to develop new design rules, procedures, and processes using scientific and mathematical methodology or extensive experience.
Skill in analyzing production process deviations and warranty improvement issues.
Capability to create mock-ups and prototypes.
Responsibilities:
Develop electrical products and systems by applying principles of electricity and electronics.
Perform risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Develop new design rules, procedures, specialized techniques, processes, evaluate deviations from procedures through information from various sources including experimentation, customer specifications, government requirements, etc.
Analyze production process deviation requests and verify data for root cause analysis supporting warranty issues.
Demonstrate flexibility by working across different areas including Project Management.
Supervise the generation of mock-ups and prototypes.
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
