About Us:
Join our dedicated team at Bilingual Therapies, committed to providing exceptional educational support services. We are currently seeking an Intervention Assistant for Special Education to join us for the upcoming academic year.
Position Overview:
We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Intervention Assistant for Special Education to support our students' academic and developmental needs. This is a full-time position starting from August 14, 2024, to June 5, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in special education programs.
- Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and collect data to assess effectiveness of interventions.
- Provide assistance with daily classroom activities and transitions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field preferred.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License.
- Must pass a district proficiency test.
- Previous experience working with individuals with special needs preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
