About Us:
At Bilingual Therapies, we're dedicated to providing exceptional educational services to students. We're currently seeking a committed School Social Worker to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Tiskilwa, Illinois.
Role Overview:
We're seeking a full-time School Social Worker to work onsite from August 12, 2024, to May 28, 2025, supporting students in Tiskilwa. This role involves conducting assessments, providing counseling services, and collaborating with students, families, and staff to foster student success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' social and emotional needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and colleagues to develop intervention strategies promoting student success.
- Act as an advocate for students and provide connections to community resources and services when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Master's degree in Social Work.
- Possess valid state licensure as a School Social Worker.
