CNC Lathe Operator

Schedule: 8-hour shift

Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathe with live milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications

• Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process

• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards

• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed

• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance

• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating CNC lathe machines, preferred but not required.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings

• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles

• Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments accurately

• Familiarity with programming software for CNC machines (e.g., Camworks, Featurecam, Mastercam)

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication skills
